With a career spanning over two decades—from his early days as a Program Associate at the prestigious El Pomar Foundation to serving as Executive Director of a prominent NFL Youth Foundation—Shawn M. Huff has witnessed the transformative power of philanthropy firsthand.
His commitment to service was recognized on the national stage in 1992 when he was honored as the 897th “Point of Light” by President George H.W. Bush. Standing in the Gold Room of the White House alongside 49 other inspirational volunteers, Shawn M. Huff received the Presidential Award—a moment that cemented his lifelong belief in the power of individual action.
Today, Shawn M. Huff is applying that same spirit of service to the digital age. As a father to his son, Jordan, who lives in New York, Shawn M. Huff is deeply motivated by the need to protect the next generation from the data exploitation that plagues the modern internet. Witnessing how data misuse has eroded trust in the nonprofit sector, he founded GIVE→ALIGN. to prove that technology can be both cutting-edge and ethically uncompromising. His mission is to demonstrate that AI can connect donors with verified causes without ever storing, selling, or sharing a single byte of personal information.
