How we select Nonprofits/NGO's.

We are intentionally non-partisan and non-ideological. GIVE→ALIGN does not endorse, rank, or weight Nonprofits/NGO's based on political leaning, faith tradition, or policy positions. If an organisation meets the objective criteria below, it is eligible for our matching platform — full stop.

This mirrors the approach used by donor-advised-fund custodians like Fidelity Charitable and Vanguard Charitable, who route billions of dollars a year to every corner of the 501(c)(3) ecosystem without ideological filters.

To be listed on the GIVE→ALIGN matching platform, a Nonprofit/NGO must:

• Be a recognised charitable organisation — typically a U.S. 501(c)(3) in good standing with the IRS (verified via EIN against IRS Publication 78 / Tax Exempt Organization Search), or an internationally-recognised equivalent.
• Have an active Board of Directors or equivalent governance body that meets regularly. We ask this to protect donors from orgs that lack independent oversight.
• Publish a clear mission, a contact address, and a functioning website.
• Not appear on OFAC sanctions lists or any equivalent international terror-finance watchlist.
• Pass our moderation review — an internal check that the application is made in good faith, accurate, and free of abusive content.

We do not require you to share our views, our donors' views, or any particular cause area. A conservative religious charity, a progressive advocacy group, an apolitical animal shelter, and a partisan think tank are all equally eligible so long as they meet the criteria above.

• We don't score, grade, or rank Nonprofits/NGO's against one another publicly. Any AI-generated match score is a reflection of a specific donor's interests, not an editorial opinion of the Nonprofit/NGO itself.
• We don't accept payment from Nonprofits/NGO's for placement, priority, or favourable positioning. Our matching platform ordering is donor-driven.
• We don't deduct platform fees from donations. Every donor's dollar, less standard Stripe processing, goes to the Nonprofit/NGO they chose.
• We don't share donor contact information with any Nonprofit/NGO unless the donor has explicitly opted in on that specific donation.

Because our matching platform is viewpoint-neutral, donors will sometimes encounter Nonprofits/NGO's they disagree with — possibly strongly. We believe that's the right tradeoff for a matching platform.

Donors control their own experience: filter by cause, region, U.S. tax-deductibility, or active-board status. Use the AI Match tool to find organisations that specifically align with the causes you care most about. Favourite the orgs you love and ignore the rest.

Nonprofits retain full agency too: any listed Nonprofit/NGO may request removal from the public matching platform at any time (see below).

If you believe an organisation in our catalogue has lost its charitable status, engages in fraud, appears on a sanctions list, or otherwise no longer meets our eligibility criteria, please let us know. We investigate every report within 14 business days.

We will not remove organisations based on disagreement with their (lawful) mission. Reports based purely on ideological or political disagreement will be acknowledged and closed without action.

Many organisations on our matching platform were added by our editorial team based on publicly-available information (IRS filings, official websites, and brand assets). If your organisation is listed and you would like to:

• Claim your profile and update your mission/impact text
• Request a different logo or hero image
• Correct any factual inaccuracy
• Remove your organisation from the matching platform entirely

Alternatively, new Nonprofits/NGO's can self-register here — your submission will enter moderation and, once approved, appear on the public matching platform.
